Dr. Wilfredo C. Ramos, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, highlighted the transformative impact of the research and projects spearheaded by the different colleges.
The core of the event was the presentations of the colleges. Ms. Hazel Mae L. Babiera (College of Education), Ms. Gladys Castillo-Martinez (College of Criminal Justice Education), Dean Jelwin DL. Bautista (College of Business and Accountancy), Ms. Precious Ira A. Baquiran (College of Arts and Sciences), Ms. Nikki M. Toga (College of Hospitality and Tourism Management) Dean Ryan John L. De Lara (College of Engineering and Computer Technology), Ms. Lorraine Grace Tan (College of Allied Medical Sciences), and Ms. Cheena B. Mallari (College of Nursing) introduced the programs offered at their respective colleges, highlighted the significant achievements of their college and their students and graduates, presented the unique training and learning experience the prospective students could have if they enroll in the programs, and cited other information that could persuade the SHS students to enroll in the university programs.
Additionally, the Office of Student Affairs Director Dr. Henry Cocoy DR. Nacpil presented the scholarships, discounts, and other privileges available at the University. Dr. Annie Dinh M. Alfaro, the Guidance and Placement Office Director, discussed the results of the CEM profiler examinations and advised students to consider the results when choosing their college programs.
The second part of the program allowed the students to visit interactive booths prepared by each college, where they could gather more information and ask questions. The event also featured treats, souvenir items, and prizes for the participants.
Rev. Dr. Francis V. Fajardo, the University Chaplain, and High School Spiritual Adviser Rev. Charlie M. Dela Cruz were present, offering prayers for the event, the attendees, and the institution.
