New University physician named

Wesleyan President Pacifico B. Aniag has appointed Dr. Christian M. Salazar as the new University physician.

Salazar, 38, a native of Cabanatuan City, finished his Doctor of Medicine degree at the Our Lady of Fatima University after taking up Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology at the University of Santo Tomas.

His specialty is Occupational Medicine with a diploma from the Philippine College of Occupational Medicine (PCOM) based at the Occupational Safety and Health Center in Quezon City.

He completed his Master in Hospital Administration course at Wesleyan University-Philippines Graduate School.

Salazar is concurrently the chief of hospital at Gabaldon Medicare and Health Center; company physician at California Energy Casecnan Hydroelectric Power Plant in Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija; and medical director of San Antonio Infirmary Hospital in San Antonio, Nueva Ecija.

He is a member of the PCOM, Philippine Medical Association and the Nueva Ecija Medical Society. ###
