Aniag: We’re concerned with students’ nutrition

August 5, 2017

President Pacifico B. Aniag led University officials, faculty and staff in the blessing and soft opening of the newly renovated Food Court last August 4.

In his brief remarks, the President explained that the administration’s take-over of the food stalls is intended to offer students healthy food and, at the same time, monitor their nutrition.

He said the administration wants a holistic approach to education, including being responsible for what students consume during their meals in the University.

On the economic side, he said the projected income from the Food Court will be double the rental paid to the school by the former concessionaires.

During the event, the guests were able to sample the various dishes offered by the stalls. ###
