The College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) signed a memorandum of agreement and a memorandum of understanding last July 25 with six local government offices for the internship of Criminology students,

The agencies include the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (NEPPO), Nueva Ecija Fire Provincial Office (NEFPO), Nueva Ecija Provincial Jail (NEPJ), Nueva Ecija Provincial Crime Laboratory Office (NEPCLO), Cabanatuan City Police Station (CCPS), and Cabanatuan City District Jail (CCDJ).

University President Pacifico B. Aniag signed the three-year MOA/MOU on behalf of Wesleyan, together with P/Supt. Manuel Hidalgo of NEPPO; F/Supt. Gregorio Antonio, NEFPO; PJW Joel John De Leon, NEPJ; P/Supt. Arlene Valdez Coronel, NEPCLO; P/CInsp. Roderick Corpuz, CCPS; and J/CInsp. Jerome Verbo, CCDJ.

Dr. Mercinario I. Santos, CCJE dean, said “In this memorandum of agreement, it specifies that the agencies concerned will accommodate all our criminology students for internship and train them with technical knowledge and practical know-how of the field.”

He also revealed that preparations are being made for tie-ups with the sea ports, airports, and private security companies. ###
