July 20, 2017

Two videos produced by the Wesleyan cultural group, Teatrong Laan para sa Obra Ngayon (TELON), qualified in the first and largest film competition in Central Luzon — Sine Gitnang Luzon Originals (SIGLO) organized by CLTV 36.

The films are “Dog Food” and “Dikap”, both written by Prof. Marky Anthony Miranda, TELON adviser.

“Dog Food” is about a man named Victor who hears strange voices and has an extreme affection for his dog. He is willing to do everything for his pet and in the name of his faith, including killing a person as a sacrificial lamb.

On the other hand, “Dikap” is a story of a teacher who visits his brother living on an island to tell him about a secret that happened15 years ago. When the brother learns about it, he discovers another undisclosed truth.

CLTV 36 has yet to announce the screening schedules set for this August. ###
