Wesleyan wages war against COVID-19 through prayer vigil

In the midst of the country’s continued efforts to battle against the spread of COVID-19 virus, Wesleyan University-Philippines President Judge Benjamin D. Turgano called for a daily vigil named “Mount Horeb Experience”, from March 11, 2020 to April 19, 2020.

The activity starts at 7:15 and ends at 8:00 in the morning in the university and will continue for forty days. Hosted by the Chaplaincy Office headed by Rev. Francis Fajardo, the focus of the vigil is to seek God’s intervention in the face of the threat of the highly dreaded disease caused by the said virus.

It can be recalled that the virus has spread from its epicenter, Wuhan, China, to 112 countries, killing 4,026 people and sickening 114,300 others.

Wesleyanians are praying for the immediate control of COVID-19 virus, while taking strict precautionary measures against the spread of the virus in the campus.
