Bong Bong Marcos speaks to 1,321 Wesleyan grads

Former Senator Ferdinand “Bong Bong” R. Marcos was the commencement speaker during the 72nd Commencement Exercises of Wesleyan University-Philippines held on June 13, 2019.

Speaking before Wesleyan’s 2019 batch, Marcos accepted President Judge Benjamin D. Turgano’s pronouncement that he (Marcos) be a “Ninong” to the 1,321 graduates of this university.

“My countrymen, we have reached a turning point in our history. The choice is yours. Shall we venture into this brave new world, bright with possibilities, or retreat to the safety of our families but sterile past? I am for crossing the frontier”, Bong Bong Marcos said quoting his father, former President Ferdinand E. Marcos.

This year’s batch was consist of 61 graduates from the Wesley Divinity School, 139 from the Graduate School, 13 from the John Wesley School of Law and Governance, 70 from the College of Education, 103 from the College of Arts and Sciences and Social Work, 173 from the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management, 445 from the College of Business and Accountancy, 159 from the College of Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences, 136 from the College of Engineering and Computer Technology, and 22 from the College of Criminal Justice Education.
