WU-P extends hand to Philippine Army Officers

March 15, 2019

Wesleyan University-Philippines reaches out to Philippine Army Officers School Training and Doctrine (PASTD) based in Fort Magsaysay, Palayan City in this province.

The PASTED is a school for Philippine Army Officers to be trained as teachers of the enlisted personnel of the Philippine Army in Palayan City.

A memorandum of agreement is still to be signed by both parties, but Wesleyan has started providing services even before the MOA signing. The MOA will provide for the allowance of the PASTED to avail of Wesleyan’s assistance in terms of technical expertise.

WU-P has already delivered two sets of training to PASTED. First was the Basic Computer Skills Literacy in Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint conducted by the CECT faculty.  The second wave of training centered on Philosophy of Education, a lecture delivered by the College of Arts and Sciences and Graduate School professors.

Wesleyan University-Philippines continuously upholds its philosophy of scholarship, character, and service not only in the campus but also in the community at large. ###
