WU-P CECT bags numerous awards for 2018

Wesleyan University-Philippines College of Engineering and Computer Technology bagged multiple awards the from national and regional competitions “Northern Luzon IECEP Quiz Show, ICpEP Challenge 2018, National Computer Engineering Challenge 2018, and SquEEEze National Competition, all held this school year 2018-2019.

Richard T. Gregorio and Bobby Andrews D. Francisco were held as champions in Digital Circuit Design Category followed by Eris L. Bautista and Robinson F. Berba who also claimed the championship trophy in Computer Programming Category, while Van Kaizer Sebastian, John Michael Carandang, and Cloude D. Singh wins 1st place in Robotics Competition (Line Follower Category) in ICpEP (Institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines) Challenge 2018 on October 5, 2018.

Junnel Airen Cuya, John David Madrid, Edsel Santos, Ajay Franz Bernardino, Pocholo Vince Palomo, and Karlo Mateo took home the 1st runner-up award in the 2018 Northern Luzon ICEP (Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines) Quiz Show held at Baguio City on October 13, 2018. Engr. Leo Ramos and Engr. Jayson Paul Vicencio were the coaches of the team.

In the SquEEEze National Competition,Jayne Andrada, Kiv Ryan Albiono, Richard Gregorio, and Rosss Sony Cruz was hailed as 1st runner-up in Circuit Sprint Category. The Competition was held at University of the Philippines on November 7, 2018. The students were handled by Engr. Leo Ramos and Engr. Jayson Paul Vicencio.

After winning in ICpEP Challenge 2018 Eris Bautista, Robinson Berba, and Van Kaizer Sebastian, place as 3rd runner-up in the National Computer Engineering Challenge 2018 held at University of the Cordilleras, Baguio City on November 27, 2018.
