WU-P COED welcomes new Licensed Teachers

Wesleyan University-Philippines College of Education lauds 39 new teachers who passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) in the Philippines held on September 30, 2018.

According to the PRC (Professional Regulation Commission) website, 18,409 elementary teachers out of 90,750 examinees (20.29%) and 60,803 secondary teachers out of 126,582 examinees (48.03%)” passed the LET. 23 Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education (BSED) students from WU-P passed, while 11 Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (BEED) students made it. Five second coursers also are passers.

In 2013, April Joy Garing Galica from COED placed ninth in the Secondary Level Licensure Examination for Teachers with a passing rate of 91.20%.
