Wesleyan faculty, staff, and alumni present at 1st National Conference on Interdisciplinary Research

Some faculty, staff, and alumni of Wesleyan presented their respective researches at the 1st National Conference on Interdisciplinary Research, and 6th Likhang Arriba: The Letran Research Colloquia Series held in Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Intramuros, Manila last February 22 and 23.

Qualified researches included the following:

  • Ethical Climate, Employees’ Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment in Hospitality Industry in Nueva Ecija by Dr. Cindy Gaston-Villaroman
  • Lived-Experiences and Personality Change of Selected Psychology Students by Kimberly Jhoy Agustin, Karen Jann Aquino and Jehrardine Pantanoza
  • Music and Its Role on the Depressive Behavior of Selected Wesleyan University-Philippines College Students by Rodney Del Rosario, Enrica Joyce Sta. Cruz and Mia Shane Yambot
  • Personality Differences of Identical Twins and their Relationship to Emotional State by Jazel Lacson, Patricia Santoyo and Patria Santoyo
  • Guidance Skills and Competencies of Guidance Teachers: A Basis for Proposed Guidance Program by Dr. Alex Caballero and Dr. Saturnino Singuian
  • Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) Program Assessment: Basis for Improvement by Dr. Alex Caballero and Dr. Michael Fronda; and
  • Local Governance of Barangay Mabini Extension, Cabanatuan City by Queen Aldave, Ramsey Lopez, Angelica Mae Sapiandante and Prof. Ferman Lazatin

Research speakers in the event consisted of Dr. Custer Deocaris, chief of the Research Management Division of the Commission on Higher Education; Dr. Ofelia Saniel, assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Research of the University of the Philippines-Manila; Dr. Alvin Caparanga, dean of the School of Chemical, Biological and Materials Engineering and Sciences of Mapua University; and Dr. Sherlyne Almonte-Acosta, head of Educational Research Unit-SEAMEO-INNOTECH. ###
