SHS department held 69th Commencement Exercises

Wesleyan University-Philippines Senior High School Department held its 69th Commencement Exercises on May 31, 2019 at the university gymnasium.

With the theme “Unity in Diversity, Quality Education for All”, a total of 530 senior high school students marched to receive their diplomas. SHS faculty and staff, Principal Tita C. Agsunod, and the guest speaker Dr. Wilfredo R. Sison (Chief Education Supervisor of the School Governance and Operational Division of DepEd Cabanatuan City) followed the procession.        

“Do all the other things, ambitious things, travel, get rich, get famous, innovate, lead, fall in love, make and lose fortunes. But as you do, to the extent that you can, err in the direction of kindness” Principal Tita C. Agsunod quoted George Sanders for the 530 Senior High School graduates as she congratulated them and their parents.

173 Wesleyan JHS receive completion certificates

A total of 173 Junior High School students of Wesleyan University-Philippines completing Grade 10 marched with their parents to the stage to receive their certificates.

Inspired by the theme: “Pagkakaiba-iba kalidad na Edukasyon para sa Lahat”, the completers were witnessed by the JHS faculty, High School Principal Dr. Tita C. Agsunod, Acting VPAA Dr. Marietta B. Agustin, and Chief of Curriculum Implementation Division of the Division of Cabanatuan City Dr. Pricilla D. Sanchez as the guest speaker of this year’s ceremonies.

Elementary Department held its 66th Commencement Exercises

Wesleyan University-Philippines Elementary Department held its 66th Commencement Exercises on May 24, 2019 at WU-P Gymnasium.

With the theme “Unity in Diversity, Quality Education for All”, a total of 86 elementary students marched to receive their diplomas. Principal Cristy M. Fernando, Guest Speaker Dr. Rochelle R. Castillo (Treasurer of the WU-P Elementary Alumni Association) and the elementary teachers followed the graduates in the processional.

 “Your new journey will start after this event today, you will face new challenges and meet new friends. Hence, never forget your Elementary Experience that teaches you to be a strong, trustworthy, respectful and God-fearing person.” Dr. Rochelle R. Castillo stressed as she delivered her speech to the graduates.

CECT held Testimonial Dinner

Wesleyan University-Philippines College of Engineering and Computer Technology held a testimonial dinner in celebration of the 10 new Electronics Engineers who passed the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination on April 3-4, 2019 and 33 new Electronics Technician who passed the Electronics Technician Licensure Examination on April 5, 2019.

The event was attended by Engr. Yolanda R. Claudio CECT Dean, faculty, and the board passers themselves.

Wesleyanians join Clean and Green Operation 2019

May 11,2019

Wesleyan University-Philippines launched operation clean and green on May 11, 2019 with the theme of “A Cleaner Wesleyan for a Cleaner Tomorrow”.

Initiated by the University Medical-Dental Clinic through Dr. Christian Salazar in cooperation with the Office for Extension Programs, Wesleyan University- Philippines takes the challenge in lessening carbon imprint in the environment by launching Operation Clean and Green 2019.

Student volunteers, faculty and staff participated in the operation which aims not only to clean the campus but also the entire vicinity. Tree-planting, adopt a tree program and boodle fight are also part of the activities. The Clean and Green operation is in three separate dates (May11, May 17, and May 25).

WU-P ROTC rank 2 in Cabanatuan

Wesleyan University-Philippines Reserve Officers Training Corps was ranked number two in Cabanatuan City in the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) held on April 28, 2019.
