College of Hospitality and Tourism Management


The CHTM was one of the schools with BSHRM to be given a preliminary evaluation by the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities Accrediting Agency, Inc. (ACSCU-AAI) last February 26, 2008.  The college was awarded Level I accredited status on March 2009, the first BSHRM program to be accredited under ACSCU-AAI nationwide.

The program of BSHRM has attained Level III Accredited Status from ACSCU –AAI on December 13, 2013.


The CHTM International On-the-Job Training in the United States of America is made possible through partnership with First Place Inc. since 2006. The said training is under the Cultural Exchange Program of the US government providing exposure, experience and opportunities to BSHRM and BSTM students. Likewise, the said program also helps develop student’s character, allow them to live independently and work in a multi-cultural environment.

The most recent linkage of the College is with Australian Skills Institute (ASI) for the BSHRM and BSTM including Business Administration programs (under College of Business & Accountancy). The said program is a modern and unique way to make Australian Qualifications available to students of Wesleyan University –Philippines.


The HTM  occupies the first and second floors of the Millennium building. There are four lecture rooms at the ground floor and three lecture rooms at the second floor. The CHTM Function Room located at the ground floor is fully air-conditioned, with a built-in sound system and has a sitting capacity of 120 persons. This area is often used as venue for culminating events prepared by the students as part of their skills training in Food and Beverage Management, Banquet and Catering Management and Events Management.  Likewise, this is also used as a venue for many of the university’s extra-curricular activities such as seminars for small groups, dining area for guests during conferences hosted by the university and other internal events.

At the far end of the CHTM Function Room is a fully equipped Commercial Kitchen Laboratory with stainless equipment and utensils, a spacious baking laboratory, a pantry room, a storage room for equipment, linen and kitchen utensils, a laundry and dishwashing area. The College has an herbs and spices garden to acquaint students on its uses in the different culinary preparations. Besides the Millenium building is an ample space for a garden lounge where students can relax and study.  

The College has a Mini-Hotel located at the second floor. It has a reception or front desk area and lounge area, a bar and a coffee shop. The bar area is used for the laboratory of Bartending and Cocktail Mixing subject.  There is a Tourism Office adjacent to the reception area for the simulation of Tourism Management students. It also boasts of a three fully furnished air conditioned rooms; a standard deluxe room, a suite room and an executive room designed to hone competency skills training of HRIM students. There is another spacious Culinary Laboratory with a provision for a Cold Kitchen located opposite the lecture rooms at the second floor.
