The big majority of academic offerings of WU-P are accredited. The programs that enjoy Level III Status are Doctor of Education, Master of Arts in Education, Master of Arts in Nursing and Master in Business Administration, Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Accountancy, Bachelor of Elementary Education & Secondary Education, Nursing, Social Work, HRIM, High School, Elementary and Pre-School, and BS Criminology enjoys Level 1 Status. The University was permitted by Legal Education Board (LEB) to offer Bachelor of Laws. It also opened its Wesleyan Intensive Language Learning Center (WILLC), the first in Nueva Ecija.
It is the only University in Nueva Ecija to have been granted Autonomous Status by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) from March 11, 2009 to March 31, 2014. This status was renewed from 2015 until 2019;
It was upgraded from de-regulated status by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) from October 27, 2003 to October 27, 2008;
Its Graduate School is the first accredited Graduate School in the region. It was the first University in the region to top the board examinations for Certified Public Accountants (1985 and October 2016) and for Electronics and Communications Engineers (2002);
It was rated “Excellent” in the management assessment conducted by the Institutional Development Program of the Fund for Assistance to Private Education (FAPE) in 1987;
It was chosen as one of the Top 21 Universities in the country through the 1995 assessment done by CHED. It has close and strong linkages with the various national and international agencies. It is the only University in Nueva Ecija with a legitimate labor organization. It has been granted Institutional Accreditation Status effective 2014 to 2018 by the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP).
